Health & Dental Plan
Are you an UNDERGRADUATE student (Bachelors, Juris Doctor, undergraduate diploma, etc)? Your plan information and opt-out is available at ihaveaplan.ca! You can also come by the SUB info booth and the Studentcare info table in September for more info!
Are you a DISTANCE student (or other category, see below)? You are not automatically enrolled in the plan. However, you can opt-in by filling out an Enrollment Form at ihaveaplan.ca.
Important Bulletins
Distance students, Part-time students and Year 3 and 4 Island Medical Program students are not automatically covered by the UVSS Health & Dental Plan. You can enroll yourself by completing an enrolment form and paying the applicable fee. Enrolment is from September 1 -30.
If you wish to provide coverage to your immediate family, you can opt them into the plan here.
The Change-of Coverage Blackout Period for students starting school in September is from Sept. 1 - 30, 2011. For new students starting school in January, the period is from Jan. 1-31st, 2012
If you fail to opt out of the plan before the deadline, you can appeal the charges at the UVSS Info Booth. Appeals will only be accepted within the year they were charged.
